Administrative HistoryOpened in 1867 as a chapel to Birkenhead Holy Trinity. In 1868 it became a parish church serving part of Birkenhead. In 1969 the parish was united with Birkenhead St. Matthew, and after 1974 it was part of the parish of Birkenhead Priory. St. Peter’s closed in 1991.
St. Columba's Mission Room in Brook Street was licensed for divine service in 1894, and was sold in 1930.
St. Nathaniel's Mission Church in Cleveland Street was licensed for divine service in 1885, and was closed c.1929.
